Dr.Pon, I’m surprised that you asked us to set financial goals. I think a wise man like you should help us become wiser than richer.

I strongly believe that financial sufficiency can vastly reduce the social evils such as child labor, slave labor, prostitution etc. These ‘crimes’ go unpunished because they are legal. It’s strange that our society labels immoral and unethical activities as legal whereas a lot of moral and ethical activities are labeled illegal.

As a one-man army, the number of victims I can help is very limited. That’s the reason I’m focusing on eliminating the root cause of all these social evils – POVERTY.

When you become wiser you use your wealth for the benefit of the society; not to destroy it.

Dr.Pon, when you said ‘Justice is another name of revenge’, though initially I argued with you, I realized later it is a profound statement. I fully agree with you that I have to take a couple of births more to reach your level of maturity. But the one thing that bothers me is your advice to become wealthy. Don’t you think wealth will stunt our spiritual growth?

I think the spiritual ‘gurus’ have brainwashed us into thinking that creation of wealth is against spiritual growth. Think for a moment. Which spiritual guru is poor? Spiritual gurus are the wealthiest people in the world. Their ashrams are more spacious and luxurious than palaces.

My definition of spirituality is not doing any harm, not even thinking of doing any harm to anyone. We can utilize our wealth for the benefit of people – build schools, hospitals and temples. And you will become the Guru of all spiritual gurus.

Pon,I've been told that money is the root-cause of all evils. Now you are telling me it's not.i'm confused,.Can you explain?

I strongly believe that money itself is not the cause of all evils.Love of money may be.I'm not advising people to love money.I'm only asking people to earn enough money by utilising fully all the talents ,God has given them.

Love everything God has created-People,Animals,Mountains,Rivers,Oceans,Trees,Plants.Do not harm any of God's creations in your quest for wealth. But utilise all your wealth to preserve God's creations.

You want us to become wise; You also want us to become wealthy. Is it not contradictory?Would wisdom and wealth go together?

I believe all the ills we face today is because of the kinds of people .Wise people who shun wealth ;And wealthy people who shun wisdom.

Wisdom ensures that one follows ethics in the pursuit of wealth.Wise people earn wealth by enriching the lives of others and not by ruining their lives.

Wealthy people who are wise utilise their wealth for the benefit of the people.Whereas wealthy people are unwise  squander away their wealth.
